What’s On This Island In The Middle Of Nowhere Is A Slice Of Absolute Heaven!
I mean, the weather outside is starting to cool down outside and the sun is setting a lot sooner than it was. The leaves are going to start changing color and the smells of fall will be filling the air. Fall is a beautiful time of year with seemingly perfect weather and beautiful scenery everywhere you look.
The only problem with the fall is the fact that right after is a nightmare of blizzards and sub-zero temperatures. A few hours of what only seems like minutes of sunlight a day. We lock ourselves inside where it is warm and patiently await the return on spring. During this time of hibernation we have visions running through our heads about the amazing tans we get, the hot sun beating down on our backs and those amazing warm vacations to paradise.
Well here to start your cold season off properly we found a place that dreams are made of. This place is a small slice of heaven in the Maldives that is easily one of the coolest looking spots to get away from it all and relax.
Cocoa Island Resort, Maldives.
There are 36 “Boat Rooms” that make up the Cocoa Island Resort in the Maldives.
The resort is fully equipped with what you would find at a normal resort. There is a bar, a gym,Internet, spa, restaurants and a swimming pool. That is if you don’t want to jump off of your boat room into the Indian Ocean!
The stunning rooms are set out above the ocean giving you the feeling that you are truly floating in the ocean. The rooms are secure so no motion sickness will ensue but it must be a feeling that is quite unique and tranquil.
There are two walkways that venture out into the ocean connecting all the rooms.
The views are second to none when it comes to the vast ocean. The water looks so perfect. These pictures are making me want to jump in the warm Indian Ocean and relax for the day.
The island is tiny. Just enough to house what the hotel needs. There are more buildings out in the water than on the island itself.
They have rooms that will accommodate more people as well.
