JIM CARREY Says Griffin Didn’t Go Far Enough, Admits To Something Even Worse!

Whenever does something absolutely hateful there is always gonna be some idiot that defends them.

Comedian Jim Carrey has no problem defending a photo of Kathy Griffin holding the fake, bloodied head of President Donald Trump. In fact, he went so far as to call it “art.”

According to People magazine, Carrey took time of out his day to talk about the disgusting photo while being interviewed at the premiere of his Showtime series “I’m Dying Up Here.” When asked what he thought about Griffin’s gruesome photo, Carrey shocked both liberals and conservatives when he said, “I don’t think the joke is the problem. It’s not really important.”

In fact, Carrey said he didn’t think Griffin went far enough. “Hold up a severed leg as well,” he quipped, casually inciting violence against the president of the United States.

Griffin has lost endorsement deals and even her job on CNN’s annual New Year’s Eve show because of the picture, which stirred outrage from both ends of the political spectrum. But Carrey doesn’t think the issue is all that serious.

“It’s the job of the comedian to cross the line at all times — because that line is not real,” he told “Entertainment Tonight” on Wednesday. “If you step out into that spotlight and you’re doing the crazy things that [Trump] is doing, we’re the last line of defense. The comedians are the last voice of truth in this whole thing.”

In the “Entertainment Tonight” interview, Carrey even admitted he’s had his own dreams of violence towards the president.

“I had a dream the other night I was playing golf with Donald Trump,” Carrey said. “I was standing beside him with a club in my hand, and I was considering my options when I suddenly woke up.”

“It was one of those dreams where you just want to get back to sleep so you can finish it, you know?” he said.
