Kid Rock Issued A Three Word Response To Crapernick That We Can All Agree With!

About ten years ago, right about the time I got out of the navy I was working security at a building that was a hockey arena/concert hall depending on who happened to be there that day. On this particular occasion the performer that was booked for the night was Kid Rock. He was doing a series of shows in his home state of Michigan and my town at the time happened to be one of the stops. As part of my duties for that night I had to make sure that the dressing room was cleaned out after the show.I went into change a garbage bag or something like that and of all people Kid Rock comes out of a back area of the dressing room and I have to say that I have never met a more gracious performer in my life.

Some music stars have been wearing Colin Kaepernick’s jersey on stage to show support for the embattled 49ers quarterback. One of them, I’m going to assume, will not be Kid Rock. Kid Rock has long been known for his veneration of the American flag, but he took it to another level during a recent concert. While the rock star was in the middle of his pro-America hit at Fenway Park in Boston, he told the 49ers quarterback off with three words: “F*** Colin Kaepernick!” Here’s the video (in case you needed any warning, there is some profanity, and the relevant comment occurs just after the 50-second mark):

In spite of liberal protestations that most Americans support Kaepernick, almost the entire crowd seemed to be behind Kid Rock, judging by the cheer that went up when he made his statement.

While a few other players joined Kaepernick in either sitting out or kneeling down during the national anthem during NFL games on Sunday and Monday, it doesn’t seem to have done Kaepernick any good. The 49ers QB is still sitting out, thanks to his poor play, and it looks like former draft bust Blaine Gabbert will be starting for the immediate future.

According to ESPN, Kaepernick did end up playing in Monday night’s game, but long after the 49ers had wrapped up their 28-0 win over the Los Angeles Rams. He ended up playing during what’s traditionally known as “garbage time,” which was fitting.

A lot of people — including Kid Rock — think that Kaepernick is pretty much garbage, especially for continuing his protest the day after 9/11. It’s unsurprising that a lot of liberty-loving Kid Rock fans would agree with him, as we can see from the video.

What was more interesting was that most of America was behind Kid Rock, too — and that’s going to be the ultimate surprise for Mr. Kaepernick and his anti-American ilk.
